Soil Hub Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
The Soil Hub, hosted by Quorum Sense, is a community-powered directory connecting regenerative, biological and low-input producers and growers with service providers, advisors and consultants Aotearoa New Zealand. It is designed to foster collaboration, trust, and knowledge-sharing to support ecological and financial resilience.
By using the Soil Hub, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, which apply to all users including service and/or product providers (“Contributors”) and those seeking services (“Users”).
2. Purpose
The Soil Hub enables:
Verified professionals and companies to list regenerative, biological and low-input services and expertise.
Farmers, growers and land managers can easily discover, contact, and engage with all listees aligned with regenerative principles.
Community connection and learning between users.
3. Code of Conduct
As part of the Quorum Sense community, all Soil Hub users agree to:
Act with integrity: Communicate honestly, clearly represent your offerings, and honour your commitments.
Respect others: Engage respectfully with others, regardless of their background or level of experience.
Uphold regenerative principles: Services promoted through the Soil Hub should support ecological health, biodiversity, and long-term land stewardship.
Be accountable: Respond promptly to enquiries (within 3 working days) and aim to resolve any concerns in good faith.
Stay legal: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations (e.g. employment, food safety, GST).
4. Eligibility and Registration
To be listed in the Soil Hub Directories:
You/your company must be based in Aotearoa New Zealand (exceptions may be granted on request).
All registration information must be true, current, and complete.
5. Listings and Responsibilities
Quorum Sense reserves the right to not accept applications for the Soil Hub based around our core values as an organisation and the purpose of the Soil Hub.
Contributors agree to:
List only services and/or products you are qualified and authorised to provide.
Clearly describe your experience, services and/or products offered, geographic availability, and pricing (if applicable).
Only list services and/or products you are directly involved in delivering (no reselling others’ services).
Update or remove listings if your availability, contact details, or qualifications change.
Take responsibility for ensuring any advice given, products supplied or services provided are safe, appropriate, fit for purpose and delivered in good faith.
6. Platform Role and Liability
The Soil Hub is a directory platform only. Quorum Sense:
Does not verify all professional qualifications or vet individual service and/or product providers. We accept listings based on the best of our knowledge and research.
Is not responsible for any outcomes from services and/or products engaged through the Soil Hub.
Does not mediate or resolve disputes but may suspend or remove accounts if community standards are breached.
You use the Soil Hub at your own risk. Quorum Sense disclaims all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Privacy and Use of Information
Your information is stored only on those platforms required for running the Soil Hub.
Quorum Sense:
Uses your information only to maintain the platform and community.
Will never sell your information to third parties.
May contact you for feedback or updates related to Soil Hub services or the broader Quorum Sense community.
Will comply with NZ Privacy Act obligations and secure your data responsibly.

8. Changes and Termination
Quorum Sense may:
Modify, suspend, or terminate the Soil Hub platform or individual accounts at any time.
Change these Terms and Conditions with notice via email or the platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
